Working from home (my day job that is) in my studio all day has tempered my longing to spend more time in there in the evenings working on art projects so I have taken a relatively low energy approach to things while we are in this period. Art Achievements
- Kept up my regular output by scheduling a gouache portrait study for every second Friday on my day off from my day job.
Books & Podcasts
- Completed reading Consider Phleba & Player of Games by Iain M Banks, Too Much and Never Enough by Mary L Trump & Disloyal by Michael Cohen (yes, slightly obsessed with the chaos surrounding the Trump presidency as the US heads towards their elections)
- Began reading Out of the Silent Planet by C.S Lewis & The Wasp Factory by Iain Banks
Movies & Television
- Went and saw Tenet at the cinema which I thoroughly enjoyed although a bit of a mind bender
- Following on with my recent morbid fascination with US politics, I’ve been an avid watcher of Planet America
