Time to Review Quarter 2 - 2020 1

A quick review of my achievements and discoveries (art related or not) for the quarter allows me to acknowledge my achievements, understand where I still need work, and remember some of the new and exciting things I may have seen or done outside of the studio.

This is not intended to be an exhaustively detailed examination of all that has passed, but more an easily digestible bullet point record.

Quarter 2 – 2020

Things have obviously been quite crazy this past quarter with the place in lock-down due to COVID-19. No one knew how bad things would get or how long the tough restrictions would last, but thankfully here in South Australia at least we seem to have jumped on things early enough that we (so far) seem to have things under control.

Regardless, it has meant that self care and my families care had to come first, with art having to fit in where it could.

Art Achievements

  • Maintained regular output by scheduling a gouache portrait study for every second Friday on my day off from my day job.

Books & Podcasts

Movies & Television

  • Binge watched the first couple of seasons of Future Man which was quite ridiculous but thoroughly entertaining
