I was lucky enough to take part in RAW Adelaide’s recent event – NEXT – a night showcasing local independant visual art, music, film, fashion, photography & performing art.

I wasn’t too sure how the event was going to go but I’m happy to report the night a great success. Not only from a personal level, but as an event as a whole for every one of the artists involved.

A huge pat on the back for the organisers is well deserved.

I was able to meet and chat to many great artists, see first hand how the general punter reacted to my work (pretty positive thankfully) and show my family and friends what I’ve been up to the past few months.

Friends were reportedly very impressed with the calibre of work on display and the buzzing atmosphere of the night.

I recommend any independant artists jump at the chance to get involved should an opportunity arise.

It’s well worth it and the energy I derived from this event is now fueling me to work harder to develop bigger and better work.

Thanks to the organisers and everyone involved for the experience.
