This value study is based on a random image from the web that resonated with me enough to save it onto an inspiration file on my computer. I wanted to see if I could achieve a similarly strong emotion with all colour information stripped out and using only tone.
To me, I look at this and think about what it is this girl is waiting for as she looks forlornly out the brightly lit window.
Will its arrival come as a rap on the door, or as a spark of inspiration within herself?
