As the Portrait Drawing Group only runs during school terms, I haven’t been able to attend one since mid December so there was the concern I’d be a touch rusty.
Latest model was Ash who was able to sit for the customary 5 poses of 20 minutes each.
I felt I’d been a bit hit and miss with my facial proportions in the past so I’ve started reading ‘Drawing the Head & Figure’ by Jack Hamm for some guidance.
This was the first opportunity I had to try and put what I could remember into practice.
Reasonably pleased with the likeness I was able to achieve in the time I had.
